In Grand Theft Auto 5, as in the previous installments of the series, completing the entire storyline of the game does not ensure 100% completion. The proportions of the game components that make up 100% of the passage of the game are as follows: story missions (50%) + side missions (10%) + random events (15%) + hobbies (10%) + collecting items, etc. (+ 15%). Let's sort everything out in order.

Story missions

There are a total of 69 story missions in the game (including Lestor-issued Assassination Contracts for Franklin only).

Side missions


These tasks are given by characters encountered during the game:

  • Complete all 5 Street Races.
  • Complete all 4 Sea Races.
  • Complete all 6 Offroad Races.
  • Complete all levels in the shooting range (minimum with bronze);
  • Complete all 12 Flight School lessons (minimum Bronze);
  • Perform a parachute jump;
  • Take part in all sports: golf, darts, tennis and 3 triathlon races;
  • Order a private dance at the strip club;
  • Visit a cinema;
  • Go for a walk with Chop;
  • Go with a friend to the bar, to the strip club, to the movies and play darts.

Collecting Items and Stuff

Remember how difficult it was to find all the pigeons in GTA 4? Or collect shells in GTA: San Andreas? What were the drug packs worth in GTA: Vice City? Every player has a collector, and the developers of the game are well aware of this, so in GTA 5 you will also have to deal with finding and collecting various items. 

  • Collect all 50 spaceship parts for Omega (if you have completed all the random missions of strangers and eccentrics, then you will be given the achievement From Beyond The Stars);
  • Collect all 50 Dreyfus Letter Scraps;
  • Fly 25 under the bridge;
  • Perform 25 Ski Jumps;
  • Complete 8 Knife Fights;
  • Buy 5 income generating businesses;
  • Buy a car online;
  • Remove the prostitute;
  • Make a phone call for a sex appointment;
  • Rob the store.
